WHEN DO YOU OPEN FOR THE 2025 SEASON?

We are shooting for Easter weekend to be our attentive date 4/18/25.

CAN I ORDER A GIFT CARD?

You bet! Order your digital gift card here starting 4/18/25, or stop in to purchase a physical gift card on open days after 4:00pm.

WHAT ABOUT TAKE-OUT?

Our full food menu is available for online “only” ordering @ 14global.com beginning at 4:15PM on open days. You may simply click order online on the next page and it will direct you.

HOW DO I BOOK A RESERVATION AND WHAT ARE THE POLICIES?

You may book ^above^ by simply clicking “Book Now”. Choose your preferred dining area; indoor dining, bar dining, or outdoor patio dining. Note, when booking the bar for dining everyone must be at least 21 years old with valid id upon arrival. Also, add your little ones to the amount of guests in your party. When booking please provide a true working email and a correct cell phone number. We may need to reach you about your reservation and if we can’t speak with you in some capacity this may cause a cancelation. Also, when booking have a credit card ready. We require a credit card to secure your reservation. All credit card information will be processed securely. There will only be a pending hold of $25 per guest placed on your card. When you finish dining with us, the reservation pending hold will disappear. All cancelations and adjustments to your reservation must be completed by “11:00 AM the day you are scheduled to dine, if completed after our curtesy window you agree to be charged a fee of $25.00 per guest. Any waiver of the fee is at the sole discretion of the restaurant and they have every right to charge you for their loss of business. We have a 10 minute grace period. Please call us if you are running later than 10 minutes after your reservation time. This may shorten your dining enjoyment. Your dining experience will be reserved for 1 hour 30 minutes for parties of up to 3 guests; 1 hour 45 minutes for parties of 4-5 guests; 2 hours for parties of 6 to 11 guests; and 2 hours 30 minutes for parties of 12 to 14. Our answering service is not good place to leave cancelations or questions! It is “not frequently checked. If you need to adjust or cancel your reservation it must be done “onlineby 11:00 AM the day of dining. If you’ve any questions, give us a shout after 3PM on open days to speak with us directly.

WHAT ABOUT KIDS?

We love them! If your little one will be joining you, please include them in your party size when booking your reservation, for ample seating. We offer a kids menu and kids drinks. We have limited (3) high chairs and no booster seats. Please note on your reservation if you need a highchair. Due to our quaint indoor dining space we cannot allow strollers or large car seats in most areas of our restaurant. We also cannot safely place a stroller adjacent to fully occupied tables. Our outdoor patio has some tables with ample room to fit strollers. If you’ve any questions, give us a shout after 3PM on open days.

WHAT ABOUT LARGE PARTIES?

We have limited availability for parties of 7 to 14 guests. If you don’t see openings online give us a call after 3pm on open days.

SO WHAT’S THE DINING FORMAT?

The format is a hybrid of shared plates and regular entrees. While our dining format emphasizes sharing, sharing is optional, and we do not have communal tables or high top tables.

CAN I BRING MY OWN WINE?

Absolutely. Our corkage fee is $45 per 750mL with a max of two bottles.

HOW’S YOUR OUTDOOR PATIO?

We’re thrilled to reopen our patio when the temperature outside is comfortable for our guests! Mid May through September is best. Our patio is partially covered from above, it’s not heated, and there are no fans, but there is a nice breeze being a block off the ocean. Dress accordingly to the beach temperature when booking the patio. It’s always easier to remove a layer when warm or add a layer when chilly. There will be partial sun exposure during the early seatings. If rain is predicted, we will not close the patio until the rain arrives. If it rains during dining we will make your meal a to go experience in the case of zero availability indoors. If it’s one of those rainy day situations, we will call you with availability options. Your well behaved doggies are welcome to join you on our patio. When dining on the patio area, please no smoking or leaving the dining area with alcoholic beverages.

HOW’S YOUR INDOOR DINING?

14 Global is a quaint dining space with a chic city vibe. We have a partial open kitchen so you can see our chef’s hard at work. We play global music, have dimmed down lighting, and cozy chairs that add to the ambiance. Note, we do run our air conditioning “cool” to prevent all staff from over heating. During extreme summer temperatures it may be a bit warm with doors opening. It’s always easier to remove a layer when warm or add a layer when chilly. Bring a little open sweater. Our quaint dining space holds 50 very excited guests and at times may be a little over stimulating for some. If hearing impairment is an issue maybe select the outdoor patio.

HOW’S DINING AT THE BAR?

Our bar is full service. Offerings are a full dining menu, hand crafted cocktails, wine, and beer. We have four cozy bar seats that overlook an onyx under lit glowing bar top. It’s definitely an experience to sit with our mixologists and watch them make all the intricate cocktails. It’s dinner and a show!! If you’re dining at the bar everyone must be at least 21 years old with valid id upon arrival.

WHAT IF I HAVE ALLERGIES OR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

Many allergies or dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance 48 hour notice, so let us know when you book your reservation. Those with complex allergies or dietary restrictions please call and speak with the executive chef after 3pm on open days. Please note: our kitchen is not a gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, or kosher facility; we also serve or have served shellfish and items containing shellfish. We thoroughly clean pans, utensils, and cutting boards. We also do not cross-utilize oils or grill pans. If any risk of cross-contamination is an issue for you or your guests, we do not recommend dining with us. #livetodineanotherday

DRESS CODE?

We do not have a formal dress code. Our general guidance is if you’d be comfortable meeting your partner’s family in what you’re wearing, then you’re dressed appropriately.

WHAT IF I’M VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN?

There are plenty of options without and with some simple modifications. Please make the service staff aware. You may note on your reservation dietary preferences as well.

WHAT ABOUT PARKING?

Bethany Beach is all public parking, with the exception of FREE PARKING for 15 MINUTES ONLY. Parking spots, are either pay-to-park or require a parking permit every day from May 15 through September 15 unless otherwise noted by signage. Parking is free the remainder of the year. We do recommend allocating an extra 15 minutes to park or using ride-sharing services.

WHAT'S WITH THE NAME 14 GLOBAL?

Founder and local gal Tia Sexton wanted to create a restaurant where guests would come together and share exciting food in a comfortable, approachable atmosphere. The 14 is the restaurants street address. Global is the type of vibe and cuisine she wanted to present to guests. Tia has been mixing cocktails for 26 years. The bar is her baby!! The food and the cocktails are equally unique and delicious. We cant’t wait to serve you….
